Overview
The Documents tab is your project's file library. It supports four document types:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Note | Markdown content created in the editor with autosave |
| File | Uploaded documents (PDF, DOCX, images, etc.) stored in Cloudinary |
| Link | External URLs with metadata previews |
| Folder | Virtual folders for organizing documents |
Virtual folders
Documents are organized in virtual folders. The folder tree is derived from each document's folderPath property — no actual directories exist on disk.
- Click New folder to create a virtual folder.
- Drag documents between folders to reorganize.
- The root folder shows all documents.
- Agent-created documents appear under agents/<slug>/tasks/<taskId>/.
Markdown notes
Notes are markdown documents with a TipTap editor and autosave. They are stored as Document.content in the database.
- 1Click New note in the Documents tab.
- 2Enter a name and start writing markdown.
- 3Changes autosave every 2 seconds.
- 4Use the toolbar for formatting: headings, bold, italic, lists, code blocks.
Version history
Every edit to a note creates a version. You can view, compare, and restore previous versions.
- 1Open a note and click Versions in the header.
- 2Browse the version timeline.
- 3Click any version to view its content.
- 4Click Restore to revert to that version.
